Nope, not done any to it apart from a set of new boots.

I can't really afford it; as soon as I fix one thing, something else fudging brakes - getting sick of it now.

we've been very lucky with ours. No problems to speak of.

Fitted new wheels, tinted the glass, upgraded lights ( much brighter)
Full Service

The cosmetic stuff like - Painting the sump guard, putting a chrome towbar cover on. Removing the shabby spare wheel cover.. made all the difference.

Prob going to sell her soon.. as summer here and the MX5 coming out of hibernation...

What year is the car, and what problems have you been having? My only problem with mine so far is the 20mpg fuel consumption but it's still early days!

It's about 9 or 10 years old now and from the day it was bought, it hadn't need much work doing apart from the normal stuff; liquids, pads, discs etc...

I bought it 6 months ago and so far I've had to replace:

Fixed/almost fixed:
Entire exhaust system (mainfold to tail)
Coil pack
Spark plugs
Driver side ball joint and anti-roll link

Persistent problems are:
Creaking noise when turning to full lock right and left
Knocking, cracking, shuddering throughout the car when braking

Cost of the car... £1000
Total Repairs... £2500+
TPFT Insurance ... £2100

Oh well, ya live and learn I suppose.

I'm just leaving it now - no more work, I've spent enough on the ruddy thing now. I plan on driving it into the ground, which will be soon by the sounds of things lol then sell it off in parts.
