Hi guys im litterally losing my mind over this problem, i have a mitsubishi shogun 2005 elegance with a simular problem, my master window switch will only operate the drivers window not any of the passengers, but the passengers can operate their own, ive spoken to loads of people who dont want to get involved with it, the price for a new one is £319 from mitsubishi, been in contract with breakers who all have the wrong switch and are confused why mine is different. Could it be a wiring problem or the switch i can buy a new switch  which is over £100 but ive been told its non refundable, dont want to spend that if its not the switch, hope somone can help its driving me crazy

Hi,

I have 2006 Shogun 3.2 DiD automatic and I am struggling with similar symptoms. Things that don't work: indicators, intermittent wiper and jet washer, fog lamps, rear wiper. I checked the driver window switch for the part number and it is the same so looks like I also have the CAN bus.
Unfortunately disconnecting the window switch didn't help for me. I noticed that if I turn off the fans then sometimes the indicators starts to work if I have them on.
Also there was a time when all these components were not working, then started to work and were working for couple months.
Anyone have any idea where to look for the problem? I guess the problem is not as easy as a relay. The hazard lights are working also I checked fuses and they are fine.
I have a feeling that the problem is in some electronic component rather then electric. I replaced front ECU and ETACS ECU but with no luck.
Any help welcome.

Thanks.
