I can't really add much to what has already been said. I never met Steve or even spoke to him on the phone but he came across as one of the nicest people I knew. I feel like I've lost another true friend.

When I wasn't feeling well last year he would always ask me how I was feeling even though he was going through worse than what I was. He always thought of others before himself and I can only hope his positive attitude to life has rubbed off on me in some small way.

POCUK in general and particularly the song thread will be a much quieter place without him. My thoughts are with Fran at this time. As mentioned before I'm sure if there is anything anyone can do to help at this time the POC'ers will not disappoint. I'm away for a glass or two to raise in memory of a dear friend.

Steve, this ones for you my friend..

I will surely miss my almost daily PM from Steve,  Crying or Very sad who encouraged me, and drove me on with my problems, he was insprirational to me, he was a fighter who fought a good fight, just this time, the fight was a bit to big, rest well friend, I am sure we will have a word soon, watch Stu, never goes to the bar, Laughing  Nick will be at the bar waiting,  Shocked and James will bore you with technical stuff about motors, Confused  whilst Mark, will be the referee, Wink  and keep you all on the straight and narrow Smile

I never met Steve, but we had a common interest in music of caribbean origin, and some years ago he sent me some CDs of rare stuff from his collection. We've conversed both on the forums, and in PMs. I've always considered him as a friend, and am so sad to hear this news. My sincere condolences and best wishes to Fran at this terrible time. I'll play some of the music he sent me and think of him. God bless Steve.
