Very sad news, like many on here I never had the pleasure of meeting Steve in person but used to enjoy all the banter in "the new song thread" which just wont be the same now without its resident DJ.
My thoughts are with Fran and his family, Its very hard to know what else to say, such a nice genuine guy who will be sadly missed.
Rest in Peace Mate. |

I write this through sad tears, never met Steve, but feel I know him enough through this site to add my thoughts....
The battle is over, rest easy now, peace from the struggle.
We will 'smile' daily, as requested, because that is the way you want it, the way you have inspired us all, the way your memories will make everyone here think of you!
Thinking of everyone left behind, stay strong, the POCUK community is there for you too, an amazing club that will be missing Steve for a long time...
Love and hugs |

Oh My, RIP Steve
Not been on for a while with work & what not, then log on to read this VERY sad news,
Was always looking forward to the latest installment of Steve's journey, he coped so well with such humour, and as many have said, i loved the way he wrote.
Steve, I never met you personally but had a bit of banter with you, you were an inspiration to us all, so sorry you lost your brave fight.
Lots of love to Fran and Steves' family & friends
Goodnight Sleeptight Steve
Ally
