Hi guys,

I currently own a swb gen2 2.8 diesel but can soon get a engineless gen 2.5 lwb that had previously a 3.5 gdi engine.

Would be easier to just drop another GDI engine and be done but in my Africa the petrol is poor and only 93ron so I would just screw it again and again.

Has this conversion been done? What will it take to get the non GDI working properly?

The idea is to keep the autobox.


How about the "unloved" 6g72? Will it swap easy into the car?
