Hi,
Just got an '04 Shogun sport with 255 55 18 tyres on, they are the lamest road tread I have seen.
Has anybody fitted 265/75/16 or 235/85/16 to these with no mods? Had a look on here but cannot see any info?

Any advice appriciated, as I use the car for marshalling and don't really want to get towed off course by a competitor!

Just work there, but it does give me access to parts cheap, worked for a land rover parts supplier and built a tomcat out of new spares! I even managed to bring home a wage occasionally!

Will post a pic tomorrow as it down in the workshop at the moment.
Used to run Discovery's but got fedup of the constant unreliability.
More and more of the comp safari stuff we do at work is becoming independently sprung and a lot of the components are mitsi parts.
My tomcat is a road going car but we are building several other comp safari motors, which are 100% off road.
