Will post a pic tomorrow as it down in the workshop at the moment.
Used to run Discovery's but got fedup of the constant unreliability.
More and more of the comp safari stuff we do at work is becoming independently sprung and a lot of the components are mitsi parts.
My tomcat is a road going car but we are building several other comp safari motors, which are 100% off road.

Yep discos not best for reliability..........

Interested in the comp safari stuff Cool

Brad has been doing some blogs on the company website, there's some  pics and info on them.
Should be out racing fro March next year with at least one, if not 2 racers.

Black Tomcat is mine, going to be a road version

Frame on the left will be a Rover V8 based comp safari racer,
Frame on the right is Nissan 350Z engined, suspension is based on Mitsi bits but with custom wishbones, again for comp safari racing.

Have to say your Sport is looking the business.

Could you tell me what Trye size you settled for in the end?

Looking at putting some AT's on mine before the winter sets in. I presume from your posts that your Sport hasn't been modified and there are no rubbing issues.

Thanks Cass

went for 265/75/16, with no mods. Had no issues so far, off roading has included setting out a comp safari course and driving it several times, often at high speed.
I had no bottoming out issues, the tyres are very quiet for a MT, glad I went for them and not an AT, they behave in the wet on the road, yet self clean in the gloopy stuff.
The land owner was well impressed where the vehicle would go without bogging down or slipping, and so was I. I would go for the mt's every time

Very Happy

Hi, I know it may be a dead post but how did you get on with these tyres?

Any rubbing issues?

Cheers

Hugh

That's nice - what size were they in the end and does they rub anywhere?
