Has anyone out there fitted a CB in the centre console below the radio?
If so, what model fit's nicely? |

Seen wooden stuff like that on yaBe recently - looks nice and would match my wood wheel but it's all money and I'm trying to keep up with diesel price hikes!
Didn't know CB was so alive and kicking until I joined Pocuk. Have to get my kit outa the loft. So do you use mag mounts, bull bar fitting or permanent roof mounts for the twigs? |

Hi John, well CB maybe alive but it certainly ain't changed, still the idiots out there playing music, abuse, and general rubbish, but on a poc run very nice, though of the runs I have been on only one had cb's...
Use a gutter mount on rear of Paj....
Most folks seem to bring those little hand held radio's |

It's such a shame that the mongrels spoil it. Apart from the advent of the truly mobile phone it was the idiots that did it for me. I always used to have it on constantly especially on the motorways! I still have all the kit, from base station to 80 channel to hand helds to mobiles on both wavelengths. Such a waste! |

Handhelds are great for when you have to get out of the car - recovery or marshalling. |

Greetings all
Coo, took me back did that.... Used to waste Hours 'n Hours waffling on to blokes I could have shouted over the back fence to!
Like so many others it was the nappy mentality that took the fun out of it for me too:
Found a couple of antennas in the garage, but Junior swiped me rig and flogged it vto a mate for beer money long ago.... How much is a half-decent set these days? Nothing fancy - gave up Side-banding when the Politburo went and made us legal (as long as we used Frequently Modelmaking).
