He's denying saying he could deliver those parts now!
Which wud have been handy cos for me to try and organise transport for them is gonna be a balls, if I get them off him at all, just getting my mechanic to check and make sure its a 2.5 engine in the Paj not a 3.2 now!
I'm convinced its a 2.5 but my mechanic reckons its a 3.2! |

Pm me the reg and I'll see if any of the online checkers will tell if its a 2.5 or 3.2
Also, I should be heading up there on Wednesday if its any use? Could get the parts closer to you anyway - or could drop em to Killarney if you cover my diesel |

In any case I won't have the money to pay for the parts til friday anyway! |

Well if it says 2.5 on the logbook then I'd be inclined to believe it. Majority of the SWB versions over here are the 2.5 rather than the 3.2 due to the Irish mentality of buying the smaller cheaper option where possible.
No worries on the rest. Though I could also be up that way next week too, so keep it in mind anyway if it might help |

Yea so wud I but i'd like to have a look at it to make sure, I'm fairly certain it is a 2.5 though... bits of a balls not being able to go check it out...
Sound for the offer, I know a few mates that might be able to help me out but if I'm stuck I might give you a call!!! |

was up there this afternoon and think I figured out the confusion with delivery. For smaller parts he does offer courier services alright, but a huge thing like a gearbox is a 2 pallet size for the courier company which makes it silly money to deliver - so he just doesn't do it for the larger bits.
He said should easily fit in the back of a LWB without the pallets though. |

Yea I was thinking that myself, was just annoyed cos he said he could deliver them last week and now he can't/won't. Do now I'll have to go up there myself and get them, probably saturday... |

I'd suggest ringing well in advance Joe. I could be wrong, but I think the box is still in the Pajero (engine is anyway) so he'll need time to remove it for you. I didn't actually ask, so it could well be out, but just in case |

I was going to give him a ring tomorrow after work just to make sure he still had the parts available and if he does was gonna take a spin up on saturday with one of my mates (he's a mechanic) to have a look at it and possibly take it off his hands... |
