By way of introduction........hello......

I'm picking up my new (first) 4x4 next week - Pajero (natch) - 2.8TD LWB.

So, to the first of my frequent - and occasionally dumb (I'm a drummer) questions....

UNDERSEAL or Wayoxl

I understand that Pajeros are not treated on the underside. My vehicle will spend most of it's life on tarmac (lugging drums) and occasionally venture onto fields (towing Dobbin).

The underside is currently immaculate (I'm stunned at the condition of this 1993 vehicle!). What's the best approach to keeping the dreaded tin-worm away?

If you like the car and want to keep it for a few years, use waxoyle. If you want to nock the skin off your knuckles, send a few innocent paint brushes to heaven, save a few quide, and watch your pride and joy ‘ROT’ then use underseal! You see, what a lot of people don’t appreciate is that underseal goes hard, cracks and actually holds moisture behind the cracked sealant and creates the ideal environment for……well the rest is history. To be honest, I cannot even believe people are still making a living selling the damn stuff. If you have already bought the underseal, then don’t waist it, paint the mother-in-law…….with a bit of luck you will hold back the rot until after the Christmas celebrations! Apart from that, give the tin to your worst enemy….revenge is sweet after all. Wink
Good luck buddy and drive safe!
