Morning,

Im looking for someone to look at my Shogun Sport 2.5td, It has Starting issues  Sad  Sad

A bit of history... I bought it at a Auction, with all the symptoms of the fuel pump going.. so eventually it stopped all together. I bought a second hand pump from a running shogun and replaced it, but since then it wont start from the key. Bumps starts no problem and has loads of power, totally different machine from before..

Ive checked all the usual things, heater plugs, fuel supply etc..  I do know the timing is crucial and as far as i know it's spot on.

If any body knows of someone or some place up in my area with the "Shogun Whisper" touch id love to hear about them and maybe get this beast running..

Cheers  Dino

At the risk of stating the obvious, the starter isnt shot is it? or the start signal wire to the starter not connected?

Is there a lot of white smoke? I had an issue on my patrol once, where there as corrosion on the connection to the buzz bar. this caused high resistance and very low voltage to the glow plugs. Sanded it down and reconnected and it started fine

Try Airylea motors in Aberdeen they repaired my pump and have done other members cars too. They are Bosch approved diesel specialists.
