will tell her that and get rick to tell you her reply............*beep* *beep* *beep*
That was turning right at top of road, car coming down too fast(still her fault as she should have judged it going 50 or 200mph!!!! The impact i dont know speed, she got cracked rib, pushed across road into a biffa truck(big bin wagon) tbh it was quite a bad crash..............drivers awareness course got her nothing but praise, out of her group she was the only one to overtake on the motorway etc, others panicking like mrs daisy. Her scores and their comments ,in short they said they could not understand looking at marks, similar to an advanced drivers(she has not done that, but may as her dad is a driving inst). She just.........well i call it "rachels world" pink elephants and unicorns
Needless to say she passed the 1 and a 1/2 day course with flying colours many years back............
Last bump recent, again her fault but unfortunate she hit water hidden on a crest, aquaplaned into the back of another car................ carp happens Pete, just last 2 weeks its been relentless!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i dont exaggerate either!!!!!!!!!!!
Pushed to your limits is a better word.............
Anyway happy happy happy............
Where was I |

I had a run of accidents a few years back - sometimes they just happen no matter how good a driver you are.
You just have to ride it out.
last one i had was when someone ran into the back of my Shogun while I was waiting to turn right. Her car was a write off and all the Shogun needed was a new rear bumper, towbar and a rear light. |

As i say Pete, you can be the best driver in the world...........person coming round the corner(or in your case behind) could be the worse.
I have noticed the driving test has more to it when i did mine in 93 iirc, but its shocking, either too many 3 day crash courses(pun intended) or back handers, either way the standard of driving has deteriorated severely over the years.............or is it because traffic has doubled/tripled and is more noticeable |

In Derby nobody seems to use indicators so you are left guessing what they are going to do - annoys the hell out of me!!
I passed my test in 1972 - it was about 20 minutes long and all I did was drive round Doncaster - reversed once and an emergency stop.
The bike test was 10 minutes of driving around a block of houses with only left turns!!
Much easier back then! |

I've never been there - only been to Manchester half a dozen times!
I doubt I would pass a test now |

They must spend lots of money at driving schools.
I've got lazy with having automatics lately - just potter round driving one handed most of the time! |

i so want that,i so want to be lazy again i seriously miss my auto.....
"once you have a manual again you wont look back, you have control of the car and ...................." she said ,i knew *bo ox* having a chilled out arm chair, changing gear is a waste of energy .............grass is greener but the side i was already on it was a lot greener
Horses for courses i guess.............i dont mind too much, just prefer an auto, simple and as honest as that
Is fun though and easier playing with the boost on mine, for a big truck or 4x4 auto every day of the week
You need to start vaping
A bonus people dont think about too until it happens, with an injured leg or arm you are still mobile, manual your stuffed................. |

I dont think the test system is any good. It looks to me like a test to see
if you can drive the car not if you are safe to be on the road.
The amount of bad driving that i see everyday on the road is shocking.
Its not only the youngsters, its in general. As a professional driver i have
to have a CPC licence and under go 35hrs of training every 5 years.
Sounds good but i spent a week talking about customer services and
first aid. Did not sit in a vehicle once, let alone drive one.
Then we wonder why standards are going down hill |

People drive very selfishly these days - nobody seems to even say thanks if you let them out of a side road.
I find having a big truck helps when you need to get out of a side road - people seem to give way for some reason |

I live on a test route, so there's learner drivers around here all the time practising, and the amount of learners who are in front of you and just stop no indicators and then do parallel parking or 3 point turn, I've even had one do an emergancy stop about 50 ft in front of me.i even had a word with one that just stopped in front of me, no signal and just started reverse parking, so I got out and kind of politely asked the instuctor if you still have to indicate when parking these days, he said yes, so I told the pupil to sack this idiot and get someone that teaches correctly. And this is how they are being taught these days. |

Driving standards.
There isn't much traffic around here and O M G !!
More money to be made by the corporate and the exchequer from people who are not trained to do what they need to do PROPERLY. |

Electric bike is a new way for commuting. It is friendly to our live environment. I got one from eskute.co.uk, which really helps me |
