|
|
Hi, all, had lumpy engine at idle few weeks ago, solved this by removing the centre o ring from the fuel filter. Since then it has been fine running on 50/50 veg oil and diesel.
If I put more than that amount of oil in it runs lumpy at idle and doesn't like it.
I replaced the fuel lines from tank last week, but didn't change the small rubber pipes in engine bay, leak off piece etc. Do you think it could be air leak on these?
What mixture do you run in 2.8 and how does it run? My 2.5 was a slow truck but ran a lot better on veg oil that the 2.8. |

The center o ring should be removed every time before fitting a new filter as it doesn't seal properly.
I run my 1995 2.8 Pajero on 50% veg 50% diesel at the moment which is the mix I used all last winter. During the warmer summer months I run it on 75% veg 25% diesel. |
