I have a dash cam video that I want to post on a forum, I cannot find an idiot proof way to cut out the bit I want. Anyone tell me of an easy one to do the job ?

Bob.

I use iMovie for Mac,and it is very easy,The windows Movie maker software works in a similar way

You start a new "project" first, Then you import the file that contains the segment you want to upload,it will appear in a filmstrip format at the bottom of the screen once imported, you select the segment you want and drag it to the box on the LHS of the screen. Do whatever adjustments you want and then export it to whichever folder you want in whatever format you want

Youtube will have some tutorials on doing this. Just be wide that some Dash cams save the footage in .avi format and some software needs additional codecs downloaded to be able to open the file
