Had Mark pop down and change the pump seal, I could have done myself as I had pump out before but when it went back in the engine was noisy, under powered and smoky, thought i had done it wrong so got Mark to do it as he has dealt with hundreds of Shoguns and Pajeros so he could tell me if something is wrong,

He was a nice bloke, told me apart from a bit of a diesel knock the engine was one of the best he had seen and heard, pulled the pump out quick and changed the main seal and the outer large seal as mine had snapped, put it all back, did some adjustments and replaced some bolts too, he was happy to have me watch and was happy to answer any questions,

Took it for a quick spin, felt much more poke, smoother and seemed a lot more torque too,

Overall, great bloke, great service
