s/s from down pipes back £450 or with de cat pipe 550. Old system will be kept to be put on for MOT if I dinnae go for the de cat option. Probably 56 or 75mm 409? grade pipe. Oval silencer but too many tail pipes to choose from Rolling Eyes
Spoke about nos kit for it too will see what's required then too. Be 100bhp set up if I go for it Wink approx £750

Hey Mr B !

May i suggest you go for a 2 silencer system, when i had mine back the first time with just a center box (BIG center box too) it sounded like a MK 5 cortina with the manifold hanging off !! Not exagerating. Then they changed the center box to a different type (recirculating) , better but well droning at speed ! in the end had to put 2nd silencer in position of de-cat section to keep the noise sensible !! sounds awsome now. But i dont think the guys who built it realised how stifled the standard system is on the Paj ?? But believe me go for 2 silencers, also you can replace the cat at any time with the 2nd smaller silencer !

any more info on decatting a v6 3.5???

as for ppl asking what does a decat give you?

well when i decatted my jdm subaru impreza wrx, it added 40bhp coupled with a decent air filter another 10bhp its the ideal solution to gaining a few more gee gees for little money destricts the import vehicle also

and for the MOT fron (in the UK)
the vehicle can scrape through a test with no problems if the car was made on or before march 1994 some do get thru which are not on the system as per say.... made in the later part of 1995

my subaru was a circa 1995 and it passed its MOT with no problems with a full decat s/s system 3" pipe from the trubo header to a 5" slash box (revolution built system), to which i changed it too a 3" pipe from bottom of down pipe to a 5"slash box made by nur spec, at tick over she was 118 decibles haha

HELLO ALL !

Sorry I don't get on here more often but I plan to this year, been too busy playing with motorbikes !

I recently had a custom made stainless steel exhaust fitted to the evo, it was the best way to spend 250 bucks !
A place called long life exhausts did it and they are a top notch group of guys !
I had been quoted £369 plus vat middle of last year but when in november they were quiet they sent me an e-mail offering me 40 % off so I booked it in !

They will make it as loud or as quiet as you like so I went for mild to mid rally sound and its just right, sounds great when you work the v6 but you can sit steady at 80 without any ear ache !

The system I had done was from the cat back, of course I have already removed the cat and had a small replacement pipe made for about 40 squid !

No I just need a high flow filter and some sort of ecu re-mapping, can anyone help on the re-mapping bit ?!

thanks !

ps ...

I kept just the centre box and they made it more slim so it no longer hangs below the chassis rail !
this way is doesn't drag in the mud when off roading !

the website for them is www.bristolexhausts.co.uk

check em out !!
