I am trying to post pictures but POCUK thinks I am swearing
is there any way round this?
my username on photobucket contains the word s h a g g y (Scooby doo reference) so it messes with me posting pictures
I cant change my name on photobucket easy so what are the options?
cheers |

admin may need to edit the swear filter ( mods if they have the right access) but sometimes the swear filters are fixed and cant be changed. other options are find another hosting site and use a different user name or upload straight from computer. The latta I have never done. |

Uploading images directly from computer to this forum is not possible.
If your Photobucket username is the problem, then you will need to create a new account. You will probably need a different email address in order to do this. If you don't have a suitable one, it's easy enough to create a new email account on one of the free services. Or, as has been suggested, use a different photo hosting service. |

it seems that way but why include it in the options when posting a new thread or reply?

I guess it's easier for the site owner to set a zero byte limit than to alter the bulletin board code. But I do agree the restriciton is annoying until you know about it.
Interesting! I can only assume that the filter wasn't being applied when you first entered the link to the photo. I've tried entering the same link and it's being *beeped* out - no doubt about it.
This is what's displayed now from your original link:
Right-click on the image and copy the image URL to your clipboard, and you get: 'http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b309/*beep*/sticker.jpg' |

I wasn't expecting that to happen! In the preview it showed an 'image unavailable' image!
So you can post your images.........
Ignore most of the above post then! |

for some reason i can't post images now though from the same account
here are 2 new pics on bucket

so for some reason s haggy67 is restricted as being a swear word (wont let me post it until I put a space between the s and h) |

How did you manage that Simon?
I just get the s haggy67 replaced by *beep* and it shows the link but not the photo.

The difficulty is that I can't show you as the text gets changed!
Instructions:
1. Copy the URL above to your clipboard
2. Edit the link text above to remove the extra pair of image brackets
3. Remove the ~original text after the .jpg suffix
4. Copy the amended URL to your clipboard, and paste into message.
5. Hit 'Preview' and the image will show as 'no link'. Ignore.
6. Hit 'Send' and the image will be inserted in your post.
