Really sad news, thoughts are with his friends and family.

I never had the chance to meet him but we swapped a few messages while I was looking to buy my first Paj, came across as a true gent, he will be missed

Sad

Such a shame... Been a long time since I logged on here.
I had an unread PM from a chap who I'd asked to help me out with some work.

It was from v8 Rick...

Top bloke.. Banter and helpful through and through.

Rest in peace fella.

Always the good ones.

Very sad news..
V8 Rick is certainly a POCUK legend.
I have never met him but have had advise from him.
I have been a member for a good few years now, I don't post like I use to but I still have my original Pajero on the road, thanks to advise from the experts like V8 Rick.
R I P mate.

Christmas is normally a time for family get together's,meet up with mates and just generally catch up with people you haven't seen for a while.
This isn't possible for some people who are going through the nightmare that is V8 Ricks departure from a normal existence.

It was pretty much an annual ritual for an xmas rivi run, good few years(lots in between too). I will be going rivi soon with the kids for a walk, will be having a few quite minutes for our friend...................rivi will never be the same.

Rick was the 1st to take me up, i knew rivi pretty well but never been to the tower. We met up for the 1st time in the top car park at the big barn. As rick plulled up in his v6 24v shogun, me and rach were sat in my boot eating butties  Laughing

I thought *beep* as we started to ascend, back then i thought i aint making it up here Laughing ...............the rest is history and you could say the odd thread on here may cover 1 or 2 of out meets Cool
