i have a pajero 2.5 exceed thats leaking oil from the rear oil seal between the gear box and the engine, i have been told that the engine will have to come out and there is a possability the gear box might be knackered.

there does not seem to be any problems with the gearbox , anybody got an idea of how much this is going to cost me

Dom - I've been told this is done by dropping the gearbox with the engine in the car. Didn't get a price as mine was rocker cover seals,
