Forgive me if it's been covered, but I did look first.

I have blanked off the EGR at the manifold by inserting a 6mm plate that was given to me. Now do I need to do the other end or will this suffice?
I have left all equipment in situ, just inserting the plate in-between. I have not touched the end closest to the top-front; all hoses and connections still in place. Does this end also need blanking? I assume that cutting the supply at source will suffice. Please enlighten me. Thanks
