think i'm getting my head around this.

also maplins have agreed to send me the correct ones now ( DI if this is the case and they send me two i will return the favour and send you one over).

funny thing is i'm normally a stickler for making sure what i'm buying is right but as i didn't really understand what i was buying i just took the sellers word for it. ill be ready next time.

I've had no problems after doing mine. Appears smoother, more power, and the mpg seems to be improved  Laughing

good news these turned up





colours are yellow, violet, black, brown, brown that should be 4.7k



time to fit this up. i'll also get a size comparison cause these are massive compared to the others

here we go

trimmed the ends down



solder on some wire





shrink wrap and do the other side



put on some ends and wrap the resistor up



all done ready to fit



remove the old one



and compare



there is a bit of a size difference there i think.

get it fitted



and then test

so on tick over it was showing 60-80% before and now



and on a run



only went around the block so more testing required.

but happy its not moving above 0

the actual plug in is one of these cheap ones (bluetooth, because wifi is hackable blue tooth has a lower range)

plug

then im using torque pro on my phone and tablet that was my phone interface, my tablet is the one i posted in my other thread with the blue dials

I've got a bluetooth plug but am on iPhone so it won't connect. Might have to look for a cheapy android gadget. It'll be easier than carrying the laptop out to check it  Laughing

My wifi adapter arrived today. Using FourStroke app on iPhone. £3.99

Ebay EGR box seems to work ok.

definitely look that way

looks to be a good app.

ijust have a cheap 7" tablet to run the truck. i do plan on mounting it as a head at some point just never got round to buying all the blue tooth bits and amps lol but then its probably cheaper to just buy an android head unit  Rolling Eyes
