I'm going to be fitting a towbar to my 2003 Shogun on Saturday and I've got to do it in the morning so I can pick up our new caravan in the afternoon. The kicker is that I won't be home before then, so I'm busy trying to line up all the ducks and do as much prep as I can in advance.

In the instructions it mentions a couple of things that have to be removed before fitting, like a 'gas can' and the towing loops, as well as bolts on the underside of the bumper. Are any of these bolts likely to be siezed up horribly? It would be great to know beforehand so I can get some PlusGas on there ASAP, or sort anything else that might be a problem.

By the way, what's the gas can they're referring to? (I've left my Haynes manual at home)
