I'm undecided where to install at the moment.  I have a drinks holder in the DIN slot below the stereo so don't want to install in the space below that in case of spillage.  I think I may put it to the LHS of steering wheel/above the fuel flap catch (MK2 Paj).  Where has everyone else installed theirs?

Also, has anyone installed their antenna on the bulbar?   Do you leave it on all the time?  Are you worried about it getting damaged/stolen.

Come guys, show me your set ups?

I stuck it here in the end and used a retractable gear tidy to hold the mic   I took the power from the fuse box by the accelerator.  I decided not to install the antenna on the bullbar, I'm going to get a bracket made for the spare wheel, so have used a mag mount as a temp install for now.

I'm not picking up a lot though.  Is there anyone local to Leigh that can check out the install?

Nice and compact little rig!
I opted for a radio with SSB/AM/FM as ssb is now legal on the Euro channels.
There are a few people on air in my neck of the woods which is a bonus.

Got mine in the roof.  You might get a problem on the MOT or with a nosy copper with an aerial mounting on the bullbar.  No sharp edges.
