Hi, I've just bought my first 3.2 and would like some opinions on running on bio or straight veg oil. Have had several 2.8s in the past and have never had any issues running either straight into the tank.
Any suggestions or experiences greatly received.

cheers

I don't think that you can run a 3.2 on vegetable oil.  The injection pump isn't compatible and could seize through lack of lubrication.  I have no idea about bio suitability for the 3.2.

From what I have read on here - the 3.2 pump is a bit fragile, and costs about £2000 to rebuild if damaged.

I wouldn't take any risks with veg or bio.

From what I understand, all cars will run on bio. The problem is making sure that the bio is completely converted and well filtered.

It's the thickness of the veggie that will cream a new style pump. Straight veg oil has more lubricity than diesel.
As said, proper bio-diesel will be fine.
You could always stick a cupful of svo in a full tank of diesel to make it smell nice and make the neighbours jealous  Laughing
