I just replaced the battery now the compass NSEW just run round in a circle, if I try to hold in the button it just sticks on one direction, also the temp sensor just flashes, any ideas.

Press it so it circles then you need to drive round in circles, so find a roundabout or car park you can go round a few times

If it is the same as the standard Pajero then it needs calibrating.

Find a big car park or a quiet roundabout.

Press the "S" button for at least two seconds until the compass display clears - then drive in a complete 360o circle - that should reset it.

Hi,

If you remove the panels under the car and look up to the oil filter you will see it. It should have a single cable connected to it. They are know to fail periodically. I have changed it on mine and not a bad job to do.
