Drain the radiator by removing the bottom hose and drain the engine block with the drain plug

I doubt it - the one on my 2.8 is different but I have to crawl underneath to even see it.

Hello, I'm a new member from Chile. I owe a Mitsubishi Montero Sport 2.5 tdi from 2007 with the 4D56 engine.
I was searching information about how to renew the engine coolant and came to this forum for the pic you posted, which helped me to find the location of the drain plug on the engine block.

I have tried to remove the drain plug, but it was nearly impossible and I could not even twist the wrench. I have thought on use an impact wrench or apply heat to loosen the sealant.
Is there another way to loosen the drain plug?
How had you loosen the plug?

Cheers from Chile and thanks for the pic and information
