Hi guys,

Hope you are well.

Does anyone know if the 1998 model Pajero's (3.5 V6 model in particular) have any kind of cabin air filter on them.

I am driving in Malta, one of the most if not the most car populated place in the EU. I have an endless stream of pollution making its way into the cabin even with the windows closed. It is primarily diesel as everyone drives diesels here apart from me lol...

I have tried adjusting the settings on the cars air con etc to circulate the air inside etc but a lot still seeps in...

Any ideas?

No they don’t. It wasn’t until later models that they got them.

Have you checked your door seals etc?  Might be part of the problem.

It’s behind the glovebox. If your car doesn’t have one then you can cut the aperture out and fit one in the slot.
The screw mounting holes are in the airbox regardless if the car has a filter or not.
