My shogun has no air con and I was thinking of fitting it.
How easy/hard is it to fit air con to the shogun?

It's not a job that I would attempt.

You need to fit the compressor to the engine - with it's belt and tensioner. Then the condenser in front of the radiator - also the evaporator in the dashboard - then pipe it all up.

Then do the electrics - including the "idle-up" control.

I am sure I have forgot a load of other bits - someone else will hopefully contribute.

Also, a heater control with the air con switch. Or I guess you could just use a separate switch if necessary.

I've replaced all the air con hardware in my Challenger, and everything is pretty accessible.  If you could fine good quality used parts you'd be fine.  The problem is knowing what you're buying.

Does your crank pulley have a spare groove for the air con belt?
