Has anybody fitted an aftermarket air horn, I don't mean those with air cylinders and compessors (but would be nice) that are fitted to artic type lorries. But I want something loud. I was out the other day and a car pulled right in front of me, I sounded the horn but nothing, I still think he was oblivious to everything.
Going to fit DRL's too, the pajero I did have,  had great drl's they came on with engine, dimmed when headlights were put on, flashed with indicators and even strobed with the horn.
So anyway back to horns has anybody fitted a really loud one. Going to wire it to a seperate switch so it will be seperate to the fitted ones and then have a nice horn and a P*** me off horn type arrangment.
I did have one of those speaker things where you spoke into a mic and the loud speaker was under bonnet, which also came with sound effects. The 2 problems I had with it 1 it was a bit quiet when talking through it and 2 the mic was next to my knee and the one time i caught it and set off the police siren (sound effect) was behind a police car. He wasnt impressed to say the least!

Hi,

I have a Nautilus fitted in mine and they are pretty loud, plus, I upgraded the standard horns too a couple of extra loud snail style horns, they certainly get the attention of people who pull out on me... Wink
