Good day folks
Thank you for admitting me on the club.
The misfire problem on my shogun V6 3.5 GDI is ongoing. So i opened her again and discovered there were no microfilters in the H pressure pump. Some idiot took it out and most probably scammed the Lady owner ,,," the miracle mechanic,,". Now i sit with the broken peanuts,,,
Will send the pump in to service it as well as injectors.
The problem is that here in Africa our fuels are not high standard. We think we are saving in buying low octane.
For imports our fuel is substandard. In Japan its a different story.
Please guys ,, if you buy an import , check your fuel system and add two stroke oil to the tank for the lubrication. It works. Also install the best inline fuel filters.
Its cheaper for me to get the pump serviced than buy a new one. |
