|
|
Hi all,
just bought a 2000 Pajero Sport GLS in Portugal as our holiday run around.
The seller gave us two keys but no fob (didn't know where it was). Subsequently found a very battered looking fob in the glovebox. It is black with a red button top left, black button top right and LED between the 2. Can't post image yet ;o( It has very faded markings on the back, I can only make out MPT 1304 WT. Tried but not working, could be bust or dead battery. Is this for the Pajero? If it's not can I obtain a fob somewhere?
Thanks in advance ;o) |

If you can find out the model number which could be printed on the alarm sounder (horn) under the bonnet (if fitted with an alarm) or they may be a central locking box which may be buddled in with the alarm somewhere in the cab behind the kick panels. The unit doesnt sound familiar but yours is a sport im used to a shogun warrior but there should be something that can give a makers name and model number. Im sure they will be able to correct me if wrong, i think Simon has a sport so he will know more. |

Have identified the alarm as a Gemel SerpiStar ND5 or 6. Will this be doing remote central locking too? |

Sorry can't be much help as I have never heard of that alarm, have you found the main box for the alarm if so you could check the wiring and compre it to a instalation diagram that im guessing you could find on the net and that could tell you if it has central locking? |

This is not the original alarm system fitted to the vehicle.
Original fitment was the Cobra 8165 and comes with the globe key fob, this should be a 7777b fob which is black and fitted with two large grey buttons with the small red LED between them. |
