Hi All.
Recently purchased 2.5td shogun sport 2003. All was going well until the clutch started slipping in 4th.
So replaced clutch and release bearing.

Dmf looked fine on inspection.

Since replacing there is a rattle in idle which pointe to the bearing. Pressing the clutch pedal down steps the rattle.

Also biting point is almost instantly on releasing clutch.

I'm no mechanic.
Should I of bleed the clutch on fitting? Or what the hell have I done wrong.

Thanks Matt

Make sure you have adjusted enough slack travel at the pedal, around 12mm.

Does the noise stop if you just take up the clutch slack, or is it when you depress the clutch pedal to the floor ?

The noise stops once I press the pedal down.
After discussing with euro car parts it appears they have supplied the incorrect shogun clutch. We think the cover is too thick?

I'll know once I take it off again and compare.. the joy
