Hi everyone after some advise please. I have a 2002 shogun 3.2 did . This had a electrical spike due to jump starting with a power pack now there is a issue with the ecu . The only way to get the engine started is to remove the vacuum hoses upper and lower ones from the throttle valve. The bank of solenoids / relays under the battery tray are all fine. Does anyone know who can repair the ecu ? Thanks

I don't have the names of ecu repair shops, someone may help you with this. The one I recall from pocuk offers a quotation and a warranty. But first check out the ecu yourself.

Remove the ecu, remove the cover plate.

Look firstly at the capacitors, any bulged at the ends are almost certainly faulty, and need replacement.

Inspect the pcb for a blown track, clean the area and bridge this with solder.

Fit the unit and see if it's now working.
