Having a few issues with my 2003 shogun (see other post).

With the car jacked up and all wheels off the ground and in 4wd the front offside wheel isn't being driven - you can almost see the wheel trying to turn very slightly but in a pulsing manner.  The other 3 wheels are being driven ok.

The wheel spins as freely as the near side when in neutral.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
Thanks

Its in diff lock engaged mode.

Ok, when I rev all wheels turn, but my 4 green lights and traction light all go a bit mental.

There's a differential on the front axle, so it could simply be that one side of the front driveline has more friction than the other and that's putting the torque to the other wheel.  There's no front diff lock on these vehicles.

However it's worth checking that the freewheel mechanism on the front axle has engaged. Put the car in 4WD, in neutral with the handbrake on.  Make sure the 4WD indicator lights are illuminated as they should - i.e. centre and front axle. Jack up the front offside only (rear wheels on the ground) and see if the wheel spins. If it does, the the freewheel mechanism in the front axle isn't locking the axle.
