I'm not sure what you are measuring with the multimeter, but it's possible that the low resistance of the bulb is causing confusion. Remove the bulb to break the circuit and use your multimeter probe on the exposed contacts on the circuit board. |

Will try and get time to take cluster out again tomorrow if I get chance. It's off the road till I can sort the wiring as fed up of putting it back together so decided to leave it in bits on the drive until I figure it out. Hopefully someone can tell me what colour wire and where to join in to be correct size of switch. Will try again tomorrow 🤔🤔 |

Sorted sensor wire for coil light today. Other wires all sorted apart from trigger wire for interior lights. Without going to the roof or the b pillar where the pin switch is. Could anyone tell me where I can connect to wire and confirm if I'm correct in my testing thinking it is negative switched? Thanks again |

The wiring loom runs alongside the sill under the carpet. Remove the plastic trim on the sill , lift the carpet and you'll see it. It then runs under the A pillar where you could pick it up.
See diagrams below, which also show that it's the earth that's switched.

Could you post a link to the one you bought? I'd be interested to know what it is. |

It has options with it aswell. There is output for remote boot open which I didn't need so going to wire it in to maybe do my electric mirrors once I test what signal the wire is sending. There is also wires to hook up to interior temp sensor which displays on the remote so you know car is up to temp ,also the remote displays the voltage of car battery at any time which I will find handy as I keep letting my truck die as can go weeks without using sometimes. I'm going to order window module as it will do sunroof aswell.
Will put update on in couple of weeks when I've lived with it abit and let you know how it's performing. |
