Surely the best thing would be to take it for a drive every couple of weeks. Starting it once a week without going anywhere will kill the battery.

My blue Pajero is semi retired and I try to keep the battery charged periodically. When I was using it daily I added the diesel additive a few times a year but mainly for MoT reasons. I would use it but like you it is on SORN and as it is out of use it is not insured. Crying or Very sad

Yes use Redex as this will clean the system and ensure you run it through and don't just pour it into the tank and leave it.

Fill the tank with diesel as no air space means no condensation and this means no water will condense and run down the tank to the bottom; diesel bug may be an issue (common on boats, and yes I know from experience) so adding a diesel bug treatment may be beneficial.

Hi  as your laying the car up I would advise putting in half a bottle of fuel cleaner and don't bother starting the car weekly just put the battery on a small charger once a month for a 24 hour, slow charge running the engine for a short period of time will create problems with engine wear and battery issues.

Yes, you can use them together but put the Redex in first and run it through the system and then add the bug treatment.

If you can, pop car on jacks to take the strain of tyres sitting with small flat spot at bottom.
Also useful if one or more tyres gradually letting air out.
If tyre goes flat while on ground, might break seal, might flat spot tyre.
