Hi all,

I am looking at buying a used shogun from 2014 to 2016 but all the ones I look at have £540 road tax, I only want to pay max £340 per year. I have had 4 shoguns over the years and love them, as I am just looking to upgrade from my 2010 model.

When they moved the engines from Euro5 to Euro6 the power dropped and the CO2 emissions increased and this increased the VED.  Ensure you get the 197 bhp engine if you want the lower tax.  The changeover was around October 2015.
