Hi all after some thoughts if i could.
We took our 2008 diesel ns on the sand, had to ride the clutch in a few areas and got a burning smell. That went away or so we thought. Fast forward to our next trip through mud. Got the same burning smell when winching out. The next day, put the clutch in and in 1st to take off and it turned over like a flat battery would. The car felt like it was trying to lurch forward. Engaged reverse and it started. Also started in neutral. It would not go into 1st gear at all. After a few tries it allowed to slip into first gear and off we went. Got it home put it on ramps got the same burning smell. Weve never had a problem with paj until now.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Check you have free play on the clutch pedal, around 12mm is required.
