Hey guys,

So my stupid question relates to a dump valve on my 06 shogun sport 2.5. Yip i know, its diesel, its pointless n all that stuff. But lets just make it work...if your still here helping il start from the begining.

So i now have a dump valve fitted, just now it works purely on boost being high enough to open the piston. The whole point in getting it in the first place is that the car overboosts badly when cold (30-35psi if pushed) the eml comes on when warm and it settles down, boost maxing between 15-17psi depending on the day. So justnow the bov is working as a pressure release safety valve and is great at it. The overboosting would be asking for fuel it cant give and would hesitate and everything. So it works at not letting it overboost...(tryed almost everything to fix the issue btw)

Now the fun bit...lets make it make the classic dump valve noise when i lift off. Problem i have is pretty simple, need the valve open on closed throttle and valve closed on throttle. Vacuum somehow isnt strong enough to lift the piston and being diesel the vacuum is on at the wrong time anyway so any ideas what i could use to open and close the pistion? Possibly using the throttle position voltage as power to a switch or actuator? Just to make my post even more ridiculas specific component names would be mega helpfull

Told you, stupid question!!! Not a joke though realy need a hand on it.
Thanks in advance
