Haven't posted for a while.
Just got my 2.8TD 1995 LWB back on the road after a year of being laid up.

I took it for a run the other day and the OSR caliper was sticking, so i have fitted a new caliper and carrier + pads. its all freed up and fitted correctly.

I filled up with a full fresh tank of fuel but after 140 miles found i only returned 19.8 MPG. not the worst fuel economy for one of these but i regularly get 33mpg (i know that seems excessive but its driven very steady over long miles normally).

Runs with no smoke at all, doesn't feel like it lacks power, sump doesn't seems to be filling with diesel (fairly recent fuel pump seal) glow plugs are all sound.

I am thinking it could be front calipers sticking, but they don't seem to run hot.

Am i missing something?

air filter looks ok also

taking it for a run down to wales from up north and i worked out id only be getting 216 miles to a tank... seems expensive to me.

any ideas?
