Hi guys and girls new to the forum after buying my second shogun for £350!. Its a 2004 MK3 model which requires both rear wheel arches repairing. I've spoken to many people including millers and even the local Mitsubishi dealer who say repair panels are not available. What has everyone done to sort theirs? Ideally is there a repair panel out there for another car that has the same/ similar contours that i can weld in?

Thank you in advance!

Tom

I don't think either of you have enough posts for PMs, and probably not for links either.  This might help:

No problem.  The panels themselves aren't too expensive, (about £220 at current rates), so if shipping isn't prohibitively costly it might be a good solution.  Equally it might be cheaper to get somebody skilled to fabricate replacement arches and weld them in.

That looks like the direction I'm going to take TBF. I bought it of a family friend for £350 quid following a rather ropey mot fail (tester failed it for visible smoke with a dpf among other make believe things) none of the corrosion he has failed it for is as bad as made out so i think I'm going to have to fab something up and weld in. Can't justify the price of the whole panel when i only need around eight inches of it lol
