Just done a 270 mile trip and made it on 3/4 of a tank so quite impressed with that, but driving along got the EML come up (and stayed on) and the traction control lights going on and off which in turn turns off the cruise control apart from that the car still drove ok no loss of power, no smoke just the orange warning lights!

Has anybody else experienced this?

My next move is to give the air intake system a clean (inlet manifold) and give the EGR valve a clean as well, hopefully this may be the cause (bet it's not though) unless anybody else has any thoughts?

The last time this happened was also on the motorway and not driving around town

Hi,
Have you ever cleaned the map filter (hose attaches to it and goes to the sensor next to the fuel filter) it gets blocked with carbon and causes similar problems, giving it a good clean solved my problem, it was almost blocked solid.
Cheers Drew
