Earlier in the year the car developed a clunking noise. It seems to be coming from under the car behind the front seats. When it was in for the MOT they could hear but thought it was the rear cover that goes under the transmission as the bolts were seized but not clamping it in position. This has since been sorted but the noise still persists.
It seems to be when the weight is transferred t the front so braking or hard turning. Braking when going uphill doesn’t produce the clunk.
The brakes have been overhauled including the handbrake, the rear suspension bushes replaced but not the trail arm bushes. I’m thinking it could be the trail arm bushes but anything else I should look out for?
