Question on two-way Amateur Radio radio installation for a Shogun Mk4, '07 Plate.

I'm looking to install a two-part radio in my Shogun. The head unit will be mounted on Brodit mounts on the upper dash (no holes to be drilled, YAY!), and the main unit, the body of the radio, will be in the boot area.

Ideally, I would run the two cables for it (head unit power/control cable ending in ethernet-style connectors, and the external speaker cable, a two-wire audio cable) from the main body of the radio, to be located in the boot, mounted either on the rear of the trim to the rear side of one of the rockford speaker housings, into the space behind the trim panel, and up to the room behind the rear side window, along the roofline inside the space between the headlining and the roof, down the A pillar to the top of the dash, then around the dash to come up underneath the mounting point on the dash for the radio.

Problem. I am concerned that the charges for the curtain air bag are located near where I would like to run the cables (drivers side). While the cables themselves do not push RF, they are going to be running low-level current and power (no more than a half amp, no more than 12vdc).

Would it be a better idea to run the twin cables along the edge of the floorline instead? What problems might I encounter?

Also, has anyone run anything similar, or even the same (Yaesu FT-8900R) in one of these cars? If so, how dd you accomplish the task?

OK, this one's solved through another SM source. Instead of passing the cables along the roofline, with the problems associated with the curtain airbag charges, I'll be runing the two cables from the boot to the dash via the floor alonf the line of the carpet/trim join, per the attached diagram.
