|
|
Hey Guys,
Weird one this. I have a 2003 v6 Triton (K76) and the vacuum actuator solenoid on the axle (part number MR453711) had a snapped prong (plastic prong that always breaks!!) and there fore vac pipe was hanging off and hence had no vac. 4 wheel drive worked fine, but when switching back to 2wd the 'wheel lock' light stayed on (not blinking) and front wheels stayed locked. Turn ignition off, start truck up again, light goes out, axel unlocked!
I've just swapped out the actuator and now the 'wheel lock' green light stays on and doesn't go out when I switch off the ignition.
Gonna order the solenoid switches and swap them out (part number MB620532) and see if that works.
Anyone had this before? If so, why did all work with the broken vac pipe, but now all intact, it stays locked?
Cheers
