|
|
As the wealth of knowledge on here is great i need to know which power steering fluid to use (3.2 did), i have read on here (from Peteinchad) that you cant use ATF Dexron 3 but to stick with Dexron 2. Also I have been told by a mechanic to use PSF (Comma - PSF Power Steering Fluid & Conditioner Oil Lubricant).
So as you guessed it im confussed which is the beeter oil to put in the power steering system? |

It may be different for your MkIII Simon - the Dexron was what I found out to be used in my Mk II. |

MIlners 4x4

It's quite nice not to have to do constant maintenance.
A new Nissan is much easier to live with but is a bit boring - but 50 mpg is over twice as good as the Pajero. |

I was hardly using the truck so it was better going to a good home.
I sold it to a member on here so I know it will be looked after properly.
The Nissan is no fun but it has a guarantee and free servicing for four years - and road tax and insurance are low. It is also petrol so no worries about the government trying to get old diesels off the road.
It is technically swmbo's car but I can use it when I need to. |

They are the same as the MK II and the recommended fluid is Dexron 2 for 2000-2006 early models, and for the MK IIII from 2006 on it is Dexron 2/3 so you can use either. |
