Hello all, I would like to have a roof bars with spot lights or light bar.
Problem is that my beast has neither roof railing nor gutters. It’s just a plastic strip on the roof.
Any advice guys what bars shall I buy, where to buy them etc. It’s swb Pajero 1994 model.
Thank you in advance.
Vic

Unfortunately haven’t found any decent info.
Was told to fix original roof rails... looks like big job, removing roof lining, drilling etc. Not sure about it.
If anyone knows anything please let us know.
Many thanks in advance.
Cheers

I fitted some on my 1995 LWB quite a few years ago. I used some off a Vauxhall Vectra because LWBs never had them fitted.

It's not exactly the same job as yours because you have the option of fitting original ones.

It took me two days - remove plastic trim - roof lining etc and I had to drill the roof for the fixing bolts.

Not a difficult job but fiddly - and if you make a mistake you have quite a few holes in the roof!

I suggest you use original ones - it took me month's of trawling scrap yards to find some for my LWB.

Thank you mate for your help/advice.
I will start searching for original railings for swb Pajero then.
