I'm currently in the process of having a new Hyundai D4BF installed to replaced the cracked 4D56 in my 1992 JDM Pajero XR-II (4D56tic - V24WG). However, the D4BF came with a single mass flywheel setup. The mechanic says the SMF setup is about 1/4" (6.4mm) different in thickness. For the time being, we're going to reinstall the old DMF/clutch setup on the new engine. However, in preparation for a clutch replacement in the future (hopefully distant future), I thought I'd look at what needed to be replaced.

According to every parts diagram I've seen there are two different part numbers for the flywheels depending on if you have a V24 or V24W. Every single diagram I've looked at says MB837137 is the original part number and I can't find it anywhere. I've looked at UK sites as well as Japanese sites. I did see Milner's offers a DMF to SMF conversion, although it's out of stock. FYI, the OE clutch housing and disc numbers are different, too between the V24W and V24WG, however, that can be sourced easier than that DMF.

Does anyone have a source for a replacement DMF (part MB837137)?

Additionally, if I were to do a conversion (I see Milner's 4x4 has one, but they're out of stock), is it simply the SMF and clutch setup, or is there an adaptor or something?

PS: I'm in the USA to make all of this even more complicated. I'm also not sure if this is just a JDM Pajero issue or of UKDM Pajers also had DMFs.
