Could one of you nice xhaps check your motor and tell me if your indicators flash when arming or disarming your alarm
Ive just replaced the main car battery and i was certain my indicators flashed when locking and unlocking the car , but now nothing , but alarm is definitely activated

Yes they do.

It is a visual indicator that your alarm is activated when you leave the vehicle.
Look in your alarm manual as you have various settings and if yours has gone to default you may need to reset it.

Been through manual instructions,  i can arm and disarm the alarm but no indicators when arming ffs

Just a heads up if the above happens to anybody else,  i disconnected the battery again for half an hour , and bingo , i now have flashers when arming and disarming the alarm😁😁

Beat me to it, disconnecting the battery resets the default values in the alarm.

If you go to the settings you can have the indicators flash or not flash.
You can have the horn activate when setting the alarm
You can have the horn activate when deactivating the alarm.
You can have both.

On your model it can only be done in the settings and this can only be done by the dealer; on 2006> models it can be done through the MMCS system onboard the car using the service menu on the MMCS system.
