In the middle of changing interior bulbs to led , im now at the wing mirrors, im *beeb* if i can release the mirror to get at the bulb holders , dont want to break anything, anybody done this |

Tilt the mirror all the way up and look up into the gap behind the glass. The glass sits into a black plastic bracket and this bracket clips onto a white plastic bracket that is part of the door mirror assembly.
From underneath you can see two black plastic clips clipping onto the white plastic bracket. Use a flat screwdriver to gently unclip the two black clips, you may need a torch to see clearly and I had to put a bit of pressure on the mirror to open the gap enough to see.
Make sure you are holding the mirror when you do this because it will fall. After it is out you will see how the top of the mirror is supported, it slides into a slot first then the bottom clips in.
